Business Ed in a Technical World

I think that business education is very in important for high school and college students, because it is preparing them for life in the real world. My blog will be used to inform students about techniques that can be used in the business environment, to help them become better leads in corporate environments.

Some things that future positions that student may want to look at when entering the job market is being a manager. Students will develop different philosophies over time but here is a short video below that may help develop some of their skills.

I like the idea of providing other media and ways of bringing this information to students. We are in a graphical age, seeing is believing. Since we retain more than 50% of what we see and hear, multimedia is certainly the way to go. Take a minute to review this blog http://edutechy.com/?p=5.

Edward,

You mention, "to help them become better leads in corporate environments"

Which level of managers is your blog targeted for? Entry level personnel, or mid managers?

Having been an executive and manager, I incorporate real life stories in all my buiness classes. There are so many rules and etiquettes of the business world that our classes can teach students.

Everytime I lecture and give factual stories, being a business teacher means more each time.

Your blog will benefits students. Thanks
